Default Lg-bh200?

Does the LG decode TrueHD and DD+ internally?

I don't know that many people were brave enough to buy it and find out.

Have you had any issues with FOX movies or any of the HD-DVD combo discs?

The only FOX movie I have tried is AVP and it worked fine. 300 has been the only combo disc I've tried and it worked too. I can try some of my other combo discs if you would like.

Please do if you don't mind. I've heard the newer FOX titles have problems on this one, crazy with all this profile stuff.

This player is only 1.0 compliant correct?

Thanks

The player is 1.1 compliant according to LG and CNET. It has the ethernet port on the back aswell. I just switched over to purple from red, so I am unsure what all 1.1 adds or how I could test it out. I'm pressure sure it is 1.1 though. Can it be upgraded to 2.0 if it has a ethernet port and memory allocated for firmware updates? Do you know what movies are rumored not to work? I can netflix a few to double check. I've had no problems and watched about 20 movies so far, mostly HD-DVD.

Pirates 3, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Kingdom (Combo disc), are a few titles that I have read on so far.

I have Pirates 3 and The Kingdom Combo disc (thought I watched it on the new one, but maybe it was on the 360 addon). I will check them both out tonight and let you know. I also read on www.blu-ray.com that this player is 1.1 and will be updated to 2.0 with a firmware update. It has the space requirements needed.

Have you had any issues at all with this player?

How is your audio hooked up, HDMI?

How does your audio sound coming out of the receiver as opposed to the 360 add-on, does it sound better?

Thanks

I have had no issues with the player, though I have only had it 10 days and watched about 20 titles. I have the hook up HDMI to a Yamaha Receiver then HDMI from the Receiver to Sony SXRD 60". The sound picked up noticeably. I seem to notice alot more in the surround speakers than before. It's a huge step above use the Denon 2910 for SD aswell. I will get back to you on the 2 movies tonight. I am very pleased with my purchase thus far though. I know the LG BH100 got poor reviews, but the BH200 has been great so far.

Both The Kingdom (Combo) and Pirates 3 work, aswell as 300 (Combo), Borne Ultimatum (Combo), The Departed (Combo), and Knocked Up (Combo). Hope that helps

I think it does all the codecs over hdmi. I havn't had a problem with one yet.

I actually like the look of the BH200 alot. It looks nice with the black glass look and matches the frame around the screen on the SXRD's. I know the BH100 didn't look too hot and I don't like the look of the samsungs. The only blu ray that I like the looks of better might be one of the Sony's.
