Smile Ces 2010

It's almost here gang. I didn't go last year, however, I will be back in the house this upcoming show. Can't wait. I'm just curious. Are any of you excited about going? What new technologies are you blu-ray, hd-dvd, and game fans most looking forward to at next years upcoming show? It takes me at least an entire day to get around the dog on show. That's not including the keynote addresses by the big CEOs spread out through Las Vegas. If you've ever been to the CES show at all, then I must say that the place enormous, meaning the Las Vegas Convention Center. Thank God for the new shuttle along side the Convention Center. I just can't wait. So, let us all know what are you all most looking forward to please. Take care everyone.

Be honest. You're really there for that "other" convention. The big one going on at the same time.

LOL. Good call Htown-D. Nahh....I know which one you're talking about. In fact, I got my CES pass in the mail today as I just saw your message. I have never been to that convention in my life. I heard it is a hefty price to get in there as well. CES here I come.

Although I live in Vegas I've never been to CES or the "other" convention although I've bartended some parties involved with the "other" convention that were quite interesting, but that's a whole different story I probably shouldn't get into.

I'm most curious to see what 3D products are displayed this year, at CES that is. The excitement of new Blu-ray products has worn off and I'm not really interested in any download options so that pretty much just leaves 3D, OLED, and other new TV tech, I'm kind of missing the normal pre-CES excitement now that I think about it.

I hear you vooswing. Well, I have some hidden agendas as well when I'm there as well every year. I'm a huge blackjack player. I mean, every day player in fact and my brother was in the Air Force there. So, I was there a great deal. Speaking of new technology and the topic at hand. I am too interested in the OLED technology. In fact, I'm about to purchase the Cowon S9. Huge fan of music and this puppy gets great reviews all the way around. It's screen is similar to the new Zune HD. I've played with both and the interfaces were great. Most importantly, Cowon really puts a great deal of stress on the audio crisp sound and the quality of the video on the players itself. They are both great OLED players, but I get the same capacity at 32Gb on the S9 versus the Zune HD 32GB at a lesser price. I am buying a new point-and-shoot as well just for the show and will displaying them for all of you. I've been to the show six years in a row and I will be walking the floors and updating you all with illustrations to boot. How is Vegas vooswing, other than being the foreclosure capital in the US with us here in California and Michigan? I heard the crowds are especially there still for the locals as they call you all. Plan on visiting a specific casino as well. I heard the blackjack at a specific casino I'm talking about is great for card counters. Peace....

Oh, my bad. Here is the Cowon S9:

Let me know what you think about it? It's good to know some people in here are looking forward to certain technologies.
