AWESOME!

With more companies doing this it will drive prices down

I wonder if it compares to the XBR8's 1,000,000: Contrast Ratio though.

How the heck can Vizio do this?

A 55" LCD with LED lighting, which guarantees terrific black levels, along with a 240hz refresh rate, with an improved dejudder process, for $1999 retail??????

The set also offers a USB input that can play back MPEG-2, H.264, WMV9 Video, along with JPEG photos and MP3 music files, and the company throws in a USB thumbdrive with a preloaded 1080p video.
