Heck, with this price, it's so far the lowest priced player and it's 1.1. This means it could end up at $299 or even $249 at some dealers, eventually $199. The player looks to be a great player for those in the mainstream who don't need all the bells and whistles, though it looks to have much for the price!

This will be my Blu-ray Player, unless something else catches my attention.

Given this, and the Warner/New Line news, I am now free to buy Blu-ray discs.

Up until now, I was buying DVDs.

Heh $350, so much for the Red's argument that HD-DVD's death meant high prices of $400-$500

The new Panny announced at CES will support BD-Live. The price is a bit steep at the moment, though at least this means there'll be something besides the PS3 that will support it.
$350 is $50 more than what the A3 MSRPs at, too.

And to be honest, 2.0 players should use wifi. I'm sorry but ethernet, while probably more stable, probably isn't all that practical.

Update: Philips wants to have a BD-Live player out by the end of the year:
They are very excited about the potential this player has in the market, and are currently working on a follow-up BD-Live model which may be ready by the end of the year.
