The DaVinci Code sequel Angels & Demons
From Sony Preview announcements
The film release was pushed back to May 2009 because of the writers strike, it wont be available to buy until maybe August 2009. It is a strange title for Sony to mention for 2008

Good. The first one sucked, and I just couldn't get past all the blatent timeline errors. Yes, it's pure fiction but still if you're going to say something is "based on fact, all times and dates bla bla bla" at the beginning of the book and the movie I believe, then why the hell are there so many problems with it.
...also...sorry to go off on a tangent but what the hell does this have to do with CES? Does anyone there give a rats ass about tom hanks with long hair?
EDIT: Sorry for being so snappy. I'm in a mood.

I'm just using the info from the HDD news page, I know it is a prequel. Maybe the interview was done before the film was delayed but this was announced back in November. The film was suppose to coming out in Dec 08 and it still wouldn't on been out on Blu-Ray during 2008. Maybe the Sony President was getting a little confused ?

You know, I didn't think the Da Vinci Code was terrible. Mediocre acting (Saved by Ian Mckellen), but there was nothing particularly horrible about it besides some spotty dialogue. Was it a summer movie? No, most certainly not, but Ron Howard is a good director and hopefully he'll learn from his mistakes.

I'd just be happy with Dan Brown releasing his next book at this point. Forget the movies

I actually enjoyed The Da Vinci Code even though I liked the book better of course. Isn't it always like that? The book is always better...

whats wrong with sticking to the book, and pretending davinci code never happened
