Default BD/HD announcements you're waiting for

what are some of the things you're hoping come out of CES?

movie announcements, player announcements, studio announcements, etc.

personnally, i'm hoping that paramount announces "School of Rock" on HD DVD cause i've been holding off on buying it on reg. DVD so i can get the HD version.

i'm also looking forward to see if Warner announces the release date for "I am Legend" on BD/HD and "Sweeney Todd" but i'm not entireley sure if Sweeney Todd will be on both formats since it's paramount/dreamworks AND warner.

Pretty much just a ton of movie announcements would be fine. There aren't currently many films on both formats I'm looking forward to over the coming months (up to Q3), so it would nice to get some catalog titles out of nowhere (specifically, "Heat").

Warner going Red,
TL51 (Just so the capacity debate can be over),
HD DVD price drop, base model msrp not higher than $150 for Tosh ($125/$99 for venturer and other "off brand" versions),
HD DVD General HD DVD media price drop,
GodFather HD DVD Collection,
More Star Trek HD DVD,
All BattleStar Galactica seasons available in HD DVD (including 3, with good transfers).

I'd say the least likely are points 1 and 2, I don't think the other ones are all that far fetched though.

Back to the Future is my favorite movie. I hope it comes out soon. I would pay so much money for it. Shawshank, too.

Biggest announcement I'm waiting for at CES2K8 is Warner going Red...

Everything else in HD-dom will take care of itself in the appropriate times...

Warners intentions for Hi-Def media would be great. Also anything from Pioneer Electronics.
