Sweet stuff. That's all studios that HD DVD fans were hoping to go neutral in with a big "no thank you."
I'm adding those titles to the 2007 list. |

I think it's the HD DVD fans critisizms of MPEG-2 that you're thinking of. Blu-ray fans know that all three video codecs are great.

Nope, since supporting downloadable content has absolutly nothing to do with the HD disc war.

So you're saying supporting downloadable content will have 0 impact on XBox360 sales?

By offering content on the XBox Live Marketplace they are supporting HD-DVD indirectly.

Yup, all of those HD DVD equiped 360s can easily rent for download a LionsGate movie. Seems like the next logical step for LionsGate would be to offer HD DVD support. Not guaranteed, but it would make sense for them.

I still think Lionsgate will be one of the first studios to wise up and support HD DVD. If not now, soon. IMO.
