Only their MRSP is expensive - by the time it gets to the stores the price drops by around $10 in the BEst Buys, Future Shops and Wal-Mart sections that I go to.

    For example; Kingdom of Heaven
    List price US$39.98
    Actual price CDN$32.95

I guess you wouldn't buy them even if FOX were to release them on HDDVD then.

I tend not to spend over $30CDN on HD DVD movies. I'd only consider it if it was a multi-disc set, but for most movies, that's way too expensive.

Anyway, it would seem that Disney and Fox are going with some stellar titles in the first half of 2007. I can't wait to see what the second half will bring us.

I look forward to Paramount, Warner and Sony's announcements for 2007 titles as well.

A fairly nice list, yes, but what happened to this?

So, maybe some of these might show up in 2008?

    2009?

    When?

Who knows, it looks like Disney have announced predominantly first half 2007 releases, so I would look to the second half of 2007 to see if any of those titles show up.
Hopefully with Cars coming to Blu-ray in Summer 2007 we could see some more Pixar movies as well.

With a line up like that it is becoming very tempting to go out and buy a BD player

I'm so glad I can play both formats. How hard must it be to be a HDDVD-only fanboy these days ...
