Ok.
thats it .. i have enough of that .. MAN that Blu-Ray player is too expensive. (and btw the HD-DVD who are show are not cheap either) This is not a J6p trade show. its for high end videophile/audiophile. there will be no venture crap and cheap ass garbage introduced there. would you try to sell a YUGO to a guy who want to buy a mercedes....NO. So stop whining about the high end price .. because Well DUHHH its a high end show. you are barking at the wrong tree. it only make you ignorant of the Cedia event. geez.... |

I agree with you on the "stop bitching about prices" issue but remember that, despite Cedia's target audience, it is a convention to announce future consumer-oriented products.
Sure, companies tend to announce their hi-spec hardware at this event but it also serves as the last major electronics convention for announcements prior to the Holiday crunch. There is no convention where manufacturers (sony, etc.) set up a $400,000 dollar booth to announce low end electronics aimed at J6P, to my knowledge.

It's not for high-end, it's for custom integrators which includes high-end but also low end. But the focus is on custom installation.
