Default wtf are we going to see?

I was so close to buying northern exposure the complete set on dvd, than I saw it was showing on hd on tv, anyone know if it is going to be coming out on high def.

is there any shows or movies you have hesitated to buy on dvd because you are waiting for it to come out on blu ray

not a big trek fan but I did enjoy tng, and probally sienfeld.

I am going to say you're safe to buy the DVDs. I dont think you're going to see a Blu-ray version of this anytime soon if ever. They have HD masters (to show on HDTV, but that has nothing to do with how soon it will be on Blu-ray).

TV shows are going to take a long time to start coming out normally on Blu-ray, as they take more time and money to put together. Right now there is not enough penetration in the market for Studios to start releasing many catalog TV shows on Blu-ray, heck Studios are hardly releasing 1st run TV shows on Blu-ray.....

TV shows are one of the things many people can feel "safe" in buying the DVD versions.

I really, really, really want to see Deep Space Nine on Blu. But I doubt it'll ever happen.
