This is somewhat related to the MotoGP thread. I'm wondering what is required to get various sporting events released on blu-ray? Personally, I'd pay exorbitant amounts of money to have Formula 1 races on blu-ray. The races are shot in HD (though here in the US they are broadcast on SPEED in SD). Other sporting events would be great to have on blu-ray, like last year's superbowl. I'm sure every fan of any sport has some event they would like to have. What are the barriers to getting something like an entire F1 season on blu-ray? Or MotoGP? Or NFL football? Is there something an avid F1 fan can do to get his racing fix?

Yeah I agree. Would love to see some of the Baja 1000 stuff as well. Formula 1 and Grand Prix. Whew that would be some goodness there.
