Default Heat Blu-Ray

Any new word on a more precise date for the release of Michael Mann's Heat on blu-ray besides "later this year"? From a marketing standpoint, I believe it makes sense to release this close the date "Righteous Kill" hits theatres or DVD/Blu-ray. With it getting remastered, I think it going to be pack quite a punch... I hope.

These kinds of posts go here.

And yes, I too would like it soon. Though maybe not too soon, I want Warner to figure out that we hate lossy audio first before we get a (I hate to use this word) 'gimped' version with only Dolby Digital.

Is there any source for inside dirt on WB's upcoming blu ray releases? I'd love to find out if there are any plans to release Heat in the near future or if it's been shelved.

Default where is HEAT

you would think by now the guy reviewing the discs (who does a great job!!) or the guys running this forum would get sick of people asking when HEAT is coming to blu-ray. it would be crazy for people to keep asking about this movie if it didn't happen to be one of the greatest crime movies of all time with 2 of the best actors of all time and the best director/producer/writer of all time. I am sick hearing about inside info of these strange foreign titles that are going to be released on blu-ray. Seriously, how many copies are they going to sell in comparison. guys make some calls and send some emails!!!!

Exactly! There's got to be someone on staff here who can reach out to someone at WB on this. Please?

This film absolutely begs for the deluxe treatment!

Well thank God Warner has finally given us a release date for this fine film.

Seriously, what's up with their priorities?
