I got my 20GB PS3 and it is pretty!
Mu ha ha! Stick with the kid baby!
It was delivered to my door on Friday the 24th but I was not there. So today I went down to the UPS warehouse and picked up my package. I was thinking that the package might just be my games in such but it was the entire 20GB bundle I bought online from GameStop!
Earlier today I went to GameStop with my friend Jason to trade in his old DS Phat for a sexy new black DS lite. It cost me only $64.00 because they were doing a deal where the old DS is traded in for $50.00 if you are getting a DS Lite in exchange.
So in return Jason got me two Blu-ray movies. The Fifth Element and X-Men The Last Stand.
What a coincidence.
I got the online name I wanted. On the PlayStation network I am simply Mentok.
What follows is my photo shoot.

I am typing in this message using my wonderful PS3's Internet browser. I could say that I am using my SIXAXIS controller to type this, but I will not lie, I am using my USB keyboard.
I will now do an emoticon test!

I watched X-Men The Last Stand and downloaded the Silent Hill trailer.
The download was fast. The text on the menus for the movie were small and hard to read, but that is because I have a SDTV right now.
I am going to play some games tomorrow.I love all High-Def media regardless of format.

Goodness, you can really tell how shiny the PS3 is by looking at that second picture! What’s your favourite game to date Mentok?

I have not played a single game on it yet. I will tonight. I will play God of War (I just started playing it Monday and it is really fun) and/or Resistance tonight.

Are there any disadvantages with the 20gb over the 60gb?
I was playing the demo today at Best buy and want to get one, to have a Blu-ray player for movies would be nice also. -

I downloaded the MotorStorm demo last night and played it. It was fun. I used the motion controller of the SIXAXIS and despite my gradual improvement, I always got last place. I was able to get first place using the analog stick though.
What I did not enjoy is the fact that I could not exit the demo and return to the XMB. I tried everything and scoured all the menus but I had to turn off the console and turn it back on. Poorly designed demo!I love all High-Def media regardless of format.

You can return to the main menu from demos just like you do from a regular game or anything else. Just hold the PS button in the center of the sixaxis and it will bring up options asking you to quit game(return to XMB), turn off controller, turn off console.
FYI check out the trailer for GOW2, the PS2 is still alive and kicking!

I see it as "value added". It is there to help facilitate the imersiveness of the game. Using it in MotorStorm was more like driving than using the analog stick. It was also more difficult even after some practice. I have played Excite Truck on the Wii and it is easier to steer in that game BUT that may have to do with the terrain.
The terrain in MotorStorm is much rougher and more realistic than Excite Truck. Plus in MotorStorm you can't change the angle of your vehicle in mid air. You can in Excite Truck.I love all High-Def media regardless of format.
