Default PS3, NAS, and UPnP

Hello all,
I am trying to get into integrating my PS3 more into my multimedia system like my 360. My question is, does anyone know if there are any NAS compatible HD's that will work with the PS3? I already have MediaLink and it works pretty great but the issue is that I always have to leave my G5 running. Now with my 360 I can just plug my 500GB HD to it and just play my movies. I have found this to not be possible with the PS3. So since I just happen to be in the market for a NAS system (we run several laptops in my home and it'll make backup and file sharing easier), I was wondering if there are any that are UPnP compatible that will be recognized by the PS3. Thanks in advance for all who can help.

"The SmartStor NS4300N functions as a Digital Media Streaming Server by utilizing DLNA's UPnP Protocol via Home and Local Area Networks. As a UPnP Certified Device, UPnP Media Control Points can discover and stream Music, Pictures and Video (JPEG, MP3, MPEG2, WMV and more) directly from the SmartStor NS4300N using applications such as PowerDVD, Nero Showtime, Wireless HD Media Players and Sony's PlayStation 3. When using Wireless HD Media Players or the PlayStation 3, No "PC" is needed for streaming services enabling you to view your Pictures and Videos in the comfort of your living room. In the near future HDTV LCD/Plasma Displays and Kitchen Appliances will be UPnP capable allowing access to your Personal Digital Entertainment anywhere in the Home."

Has a nice option:

"Allow you to upgrade RAID level and add disks incrementally without any operation interruption, shutting down your NAS or completely delete an existing array to rebuild from scratch with painful data loss.
*OCE: on-line capacity expansion; RLM: RAID level migration:

I might look into this also..... have to check out some reviews/users info.

I have a Netgear ReadyNAS and it has built in PS3 support via UPnP. Also works with the xbox. It's an awesome little NAS. Newegg.com has it and a lot of other options for NAS with UPnP support.
