Default Onkyo 606, Do I need to change to Bitstream for games?

I just got my Onkyo 606 and while playing metal gear 4 I only get Multi PCM lite up and not the Dolby Digital logo. Do I need to change my BD and DVD playback to Bitstream for games or can I leave it as PCM?

Thanks.

If you are outputting in PCM, the little lights will not light up on your receiver because the signal is being decoded by the PS3. Since it's fully decoded once it gets to the receiver, the receiver doesn't really know what format it is, it just passes it through to the correct speakers and displays multichannel, but it's still dolby digital or what have you.
