Post Singstar HDMI Issue's

If your Singstar craps out on you during the starting credits or during one or more songs this was my issue and how I corrected it:

During the opening video and while playing 2 of the songs (the other 30 or so work fine) the PS3 lost connection to the TV for about 10-15 secs then came back fine.

The screen would go black, no audio or video and loss signal would come on the screen. I first tried hooking up the console with regular red, white, and yellow A/V cords and other than it looking bad on the HDTV everything works with no signal loss. I have also tried it on my brothers PS3 hooked up with regular cables with no problems.

I changed the PS3 video output from 1080i to 720p and now I have no issues! I exchanged the game today at EBgames for a new one and was still having the same problems. I went back to fooling with different connections to my TV, after trying other cords and such I went in and changed the output and now it works.

This may of been just with my TV and setup, the box says it works with 720p, 1080i and 1080p but worth a try if it happens to you. Gonna call EB Games and let them know the game I exchanged works fine and to tell others who have the same issue to try changing the output setting.
