ps3 movie preview question

i saw a ps3 at circuit city where in the main menu under videos, you can see all the downloaded videos showing at once. all the mini video preview screens are showing at the same time. i was wondering how do you make it do that?

Assuming you've upgraded your firmware in the last few months, it was a feature that was implemented a few upgrades back.

The way to do it is to play the video you want to add the preview window to. Hit the triangle button (I don't know what the equivalent is on the PS3 remote, sorry) to call up the menu, and select an icon in the upper right tier which actually creates these "preview icons." You'll have to time it manually, but what happens is when you press that icon at the right moment, the PS3 will then render out the first 10-15 seconds of the video from when you've marked it, and that will now become the preview icon.
