I actually could not even go back and play Vice City(and I'm from south Florida) after playing San Andreas, but thats just me.

i was never a big fan of the series. I liked 1 and 2 on the PC. those were good GTA games. I never got into the craze of the new ones at all

I agree, I played San Andreas for about 2 hours and traded it in...I still have Vice City.

But really, I'm hoping for something really different. They changed the game up a lot from the first 2 to GTA3 and really hit something big. Then they released Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, and Vice City Stories all in the same form of GTA3. Since it's gonna actually be GTA4 and not just a renamed city, I'm looking for a completely different game.

it would be interesting if they did up it like that but I dont really see it happening but again, it would make it yet another leap in the series

wow. The trailer was very interesting (a black screen). I learned a lot about this game (from the black screen). I think the graphics are top-notch and definitely next gen (black screen). And the plot really is complex (with the black screen).

It wasn't gameplay but it appeared to be rendered by the game engine judging from the general look of it. The question is was it a real-time render or not.
