    Default True? PS4 now supports MKV?

    Kotaku has a page saying PS4 supports MKV files...

    so now both XB1 and PS4 are pirate/fansubs friendly?

    Looks that way. They sort of had to after XB1 offered a media player, which is what it is called on the ps4.

    Someone will have to test it to see what the limits are. XB1 will not recognize a lot of subs, or play 10bit files. Not a slam just normal limitations.

    I tried it out yesterday. Strangely it seems to run less stuff then the DLNA server on PS3.
