lol dude. it comes when it comes. we get the point you want this
Im assuming its harder then them just clicking a button and it can do it.
the PS3 will make you do the update if its hooked up via the web so you cannot log online with it and do anything else with it (like your friends list, PS store, online games, web etc) until you do the update"PeAcE is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past"

I'm partial to the default background. It's lovely.

As far as the DTS-MA goes, looking at it from Sony's perspective and how they prioritize features in software updates, you have to consider a lot of people don't have the equipment to take advantage of this. EVERYONE can use the custom backgrounds. I'll enjoy DTS-MA when it comes, but I also understand why it's a lower priority.

actually, I'd like to keep the wave look but be able to pick the color background I like vs. some of the ugly colors it sometimes is. I really like the black the most and would leave it like that if possible.

looks like this update eliminates the need to plug in the controller via USB so that is def a bonus! Hope they add the ability to do it via the remote on the next update!!!
EDIT: Looks like the New Theme Wallpaper only allows users to replace the wave with a photo image. Hopefully next update will allow us to choose the color wave we'd like to use.this message was brought to you by MrE™
