I like chick flicks when they're done well!

So do I. I did like the first part of the movie but later got turned off when Streep was getting most of the songs and her voice isn't very good (at least not compared to the girl). I also thought Streep too old for the part (and especially too old to be paired with Brosnan). But it's definitely not "horrible", and the consensus scores at Rotton Tomotoes and IMDB bear that out.

I think Peter and I have the same pet peeve about Hollywood using these blue or green tones to totally destroy the natural colors of a movie.
