Default Kung Fu Panda > Wall-E

Am I the only one who thought Wall E wasnt that great of a movie? Its a good movie but far from great like the hype made it out to be. I was only able to watch it once, then it sat on my shelf for almost a year before i tried watching it again and shut it off within 20mins. The first half was great but the second half was terrible, and ended up selling it last month.

Whereas a movie like Kung Fu Panda was great! Ive already watched it 4 times!

Wall-E is probably my least favorite Pixar movie, but still good. Kun Fu Panda was awesome nonetheless, and I might chose that one over Wall-E.

Kung-Fu Panda is an infinitely more entertaining movie, but you're just now realizing this?

What a pointless thread. Why compare the two of them? Can't one like them equally and be entertained by both? What's the point in comparing the two? Are they all of a sudden bitter rivals? Ugh.

I liked Wall-E because of the way it looks, but more importantly I like it because it reminds me (take this with a grain of salt) sort of like the movies you can watch and really get into because of the visual experience because it doesn't have much dialog. Like 2001, Quest for Fire and the like. Less distractions and your imagination has more sandbox space to play in... sort of.

But understand in no way, shape, or form am I saying it is of the same caliber aas 2001, Chariots of fire, Baraka, etc. (they put you in a trance easier, I think) But the music moves me and yes, the first part is so much better than the last in Wall-E.

Now however, Kung Fu panda has alot more diversity and distractions (good ones btw) going on. I love this movie as well... the colors are so deep and rich. The story is a little better than Wall-E, but I do like movies that don't have much dialogue.

At least it's better than comparing Transformers to Grand Prix like they did in the Transformers thread.

My preference has always been for KUNG FU PANDA. I admit to not liking WALL-E.

speaking of, isn't Barbie and the Three Musketeers much, much worse than The Third Man? I mean, come on!

I can watch kungfu panda more often than wall-e, but in regards to substance, I feel wall-e>panda.
