Question Content Exclusives?

Okay so if I am reading this right, all the exclusives are either in the form of collectible props and garbage or store discounts and offers; there won't be any differences between the Blu-ray editions in terms of video content and extras, right?

Woo hoo! I love Futureshop steelbooks. Hope they make one for District 9 too.

I despise the Blu cover here in the States, might buy the steelbook off those willing to ship it from Canada.

I assume you mean the exclusives, and if so, yes it is and I'm getting really sick of it. While on one hand there is often an additional version available that is cool, this is really destroying product transparency for most consumers and will hae a negative effect on the format IMO if it continues.

Yes it is getting a little crazy. Stores see a cash cow and don't want to miss the opportunity to milk it.

I do feel kind of bad for Wal-Mart Canada, though. That CEO must have slept in and arrived at the meeting dead last and ended up just getting an O-sleeve.

Well, I WAS going to simply go for the standard release, but only $50 for the shit in a box edition? I may have to cancel my preorder. I wonder if AMZ will match WalMart's price on that one...
