I liked it. I wanted to love it, but it was a little too cold and remote. I'm a big James McAvoy fan, and I thought he was excellent. Keira was quite good, too, and that one long tracking shot at Dunkirk was amazing! Not as good as the book (few films are), but I also appreciated it much more the second time around. It's filled with quite a few lovely nuances.

I really like this movie, probably coulda picked the hddvd up cheap but I've been holding out. It does have one of the greatest one track shots ever, even though I like children of men and Tony jaa's the protecter one shots better, that would be my top 3 as far as modern movies.
Will get it at decent price, downer movies don't bother me haha

The only part I really liked about it was the Dunkirk long tracking shot, but I didn't like the rest of the movie enough to buy it.

Atonement is a great film. Its was one of the last HD DVDs I was holding on to, while waiting for the Blu-Ray announcement. So, now I was able to sell my HD DVD.

This was a very enjoyable film in HD for my wife and I. Our HD-DVD serves us well for this and I see no need to buy it again in blu-ray. But I'm glad to see it made available in blu-ray for others to enjoy.

Talking Cannot WAIT!!

Adore this movie!

Huge James McAvoy fan.

Was BD from the get-go so never had the HD disc.

Have had a few (ahem) "setbacks" lately, so this really makes my day. grins.

Love this movie so much that I've had it "saved" on my DVR in HD (from HBO) for months!! Now I can finally erase it.

As an old film study teacher, it's my opinion that this movie is either a "love it or hate it" situation. Could be wrong.

Happy dance here in MN! YAY!! - AJ
