Lionsgate has been hit or miss with the TYler Perry films on Blu ray. I'd like to have the first 2 Medea films on Blu ray.

Wow, Tyler Perry on Blu-ray after a 2 year hiatus? Is this good news or bad news?

Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns came out last July, so not 2 years. They mostly just skipped over Madea Goes To Jail, which was a surprise blockbuster hit.

Seriously? It seems like there is a new T.P. film out every 3 months.

Except Tyler Perry doesn't make art like Rodriguez. Perry is the worst kind of filmmaker, I'm not trying to be a racist...... but there is only one reason why he makes these bl**k/cheap movies.........

Whats terrible is he knows what he is doing... and he is making a profit out of it

I don't know about all that, but I refuse to watch a Tyler Perry film. They look unwatchable, IMO.

As far as RR goes, I'm not interested in his kiddie flicks aside from Spy Kids/Spy Kids 2.

I like Tyler Perry films, well some of them. I've never loved one, I've never liked the Madea character. I liked Meet The Browns, but most of the films are more like something you would watch on Lifetime, television for women.

Tyler Perry...yeah. I try to keep an open mind, to experience as many different types of films possible, but I really don't have any enthusiasm to engage in his product.

he makes money, consistently, but that doesn't speak any volume about the films he creates.
