Yeah, I love the show too for what it is (just a fun show). I will eventually grab this on Blu-Ray too.

And yes, this will most likely be the last season of Chuck as NBC only bought half the number of episodes this season compared to the previous two seasons. Which is usually not a good sign....

After the mess that was transfered onto season 1, I'll need to think about this.

I love this show, but the season one video quality was terrible from what I hear.

Once the show is over I plan to buy the whole series. I just hope they are told in advance so they can wrap it up.

most shows are bought in 13 episode chunks. i know cost was a big sticking point this years but the rating weren't terrible. 8.6 mil season 1 and 7.36 for season 2. Kinda makes me wonder what they expect from shows.
EDIT: On October 28, 2009, NBC added 6 more episodes to the third season which brings the season total to 19 so it's a good sign.

Awesome! I just finished and love the first season (in spite of the pervasive visual noise problems), and can't wait to get back into it.

I've read that they're cutting production cost, even on top of the sponsorship deal with Subway. As long as it still feels high quality (like the cuts that were made over at Dollhouse, it may even be a good thing; a bit less action, a bit more character time would be fine with me!

Agreed, I'm not sure what they expect for it, especially considering its timeslot. Those are pretty decent numbers if you ask me.

Also, that's awesome and encouraging news about the 6 more episodes.

Wow, thanks for the update. 6 more episodes is great news.

Default Chuck vs. the 3rd Dimension

Anyone hear if the 3D episode that aired will be in 3D on the DVD as well or do we just get the 2D version?

Januay is a strange release date. Not sure why they wouldn't want to make this mid December so it could be bought as Christmas gifts.

I'm guessing it is because they want the S2 set out just before S3 premieres and if they put it out too much earlier they fear that everyone will forget what they've seen before the new season can catch their attention again.
