I've posted to some people about this, but remember Monsters Inc. There's some out there, considering the lack of an official announcement or amazon link, that this got pushed back a few months.

Disney is #1 when it comes to announcing titles early. Tinkerbell 2 they announced over 1/2 a year in advance.

I sure hope they don't push it back. I love this movie.

Awesome, but do you know what voice actors do the dub? I missed this when it was in theaters.

The US dub had younger siblings of "Disney" famous people (Cyrus, Jonas) along with Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Cloris Leachman, Tina Fey, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin and Betty White.

Was a big fan of the first half of the flick, felt the story bogged down in the second half and the ending was poor.

Here's hoping we get a special edition box like the JP one. I would love to see that documentary, among the other special features included in that release. I doubt we'll get something so special though. Looks like I'll have to try and import it :/

I've heard that Disney is actually doing the Japanese release, and that all of the content will be on both JP and the US release... Disney/Ghibli is really trying to push this film in the US to gain public interest in Miyazaki's films, so they probably won't skimp with it.

Liam Neeson and Cate Blanchett = automatic win.

In Mexico, they released this movie under the title "The secret of the Little Mermaid".

Just who is the one responsible for doing this kind of crap? Why change the name of the movie to a spoiler?

Great so now where are the other Miyazaki films that should have been on BluRay already like Mononoke Hime, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away? So far only a few have made it to DVD.

There's rumor that two or three other titles will take a blu bow. Don't know which ones.

because it will draw more interest instead of just calling it Ponyo. No mexican will be interested if the title is just like that.

Hopefully Nausicaa (my favorite Ghibli movie and the reason I'm even into anime) will be on Blu here shortly.
