Warner will give 'Deliverance' the special edition treatment on September 18. Looks like a very strong release, with new director commentary and four retrospective featurettes.

Thanks to Warner for what should be an excellent release of a great film. Warner has been the leading Hollywood studio in its support of classic films on SD and now on high definition. I'm sure their releases of such classics on Blu-ray and at reasonable prices will prove quite profitable in the long run and hopefully in the short run, too. Fox, Disney, and Sony, please take note.
