Default 'Seven Years in Tibet' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Kenneth's review of 'Seven Years in Tibet.' He says that while the audio package on this Blu-ray edition is merely acceptable and there isn't a special feature to be found, thankfully the video quality on this one is quite good...

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think this was a great movie and i will definitely be buying it this week.

sure its slow and doesnt have as much action as such classics like stealth and ghost rider, but its an excellent film with beautiful cinematography and a must have for my collection.

PQ : a little under whelming. LOTs of edge enhancement. as seems to be the norm with so many catalog releases. and contrast was whacked up a little high ... was the film really supposed to look like this ? gave it a rather un-natural (almost ugly) look in places. and detail wasn't too impressive in more than a few places (didn't look like a source related issue). overall, sigh!. not great, not terrible. sony isn't as good as i thought they were these days. expect they used an old (ish) master.

overall, not what i was hoping for. i'm sure it would look better on a smaller display (i'm on 100", 720P). 3/5.
