Well I am going to be getting the Walmart version of the movie with the Imax footage but I am a big Transformers fan so I will pick this up as well if the price is cheaper than the $34.99 listed on the website.

Damn...another retailer exclusive! Seems cool, but I think I'd rather have the big screen edition, since I also ordered the Mike Bay signed copy.

The idea of having a case transform into a robot is really cool. I would've gone for it, if not for the Walmart version having the IMAX footage...

Has anyone noticed the back of the box art where it states that the "Dialogue has been changed from the theatrical version." - This is noted above the PG-13 Rating...

That's interesting...

If I do decide to get this movie at all, I am leaning towards the Walmart version, especially since it is on sale for $19.xx. With the $3 off Pappa Johns coupon, I should be able to pick this up for $16.xx.

That IS interesting...I wonder if this will be a case like "Wonder Boys" where some protest over a specific reference to someone/thing was raised (I dunno, maybe ALL of the "GhettoBots'" dialogue was altered?). Or maybe some late-breaking continuity issue was identified in the dialogue forcing a line change or two (as though anyone would notice one less continuity problem here)? In any case, I don't think it's all that uncommon for minor tweaks to happen between theatrical and home video, but it's also very rarely noted (as with Wonder Boys, and here).

I remember, when I saw the movie in IMAX/theatres. The scene where Sam is talking to Opitmus in the gravesite. When Sam walks off in the distance, he says a line, something like "You are Optimus Prime, you don't need my help" or something like that. You can clearly see his head and mouth movement of that delivery is waaaaaaayyyyyy off. I noticed that in IMAX and I was like WTF. I have the movie on my computer "for viewing purposes" and that problem was fixed.....

Remember in Star Wars : Attack of the Clones. When Padme falls off the ship near the end, a trooper goes up to her and says "Are you okay", and she says all confidently "YES". It was bad dubbing because it looks like she was really hurt, and she says "YES", like if she was lying on the sand for rest like a lazy bitch.

Maybe it's something like that.... I remember than scene from TF2 in IMAX and looked stupid because it was bad dubbing

Which version of the blu-ray at Wal-Mart? I like this one too. Will this one have the IMAX scenes? This one looks very nice at Wal-Mart.

My biggest disappointment with the Attack of the Clones DVD is that Lucas digitally painted out Natalie Portman's nipples, which were plainly visible through her white costume in the theatrical release.

Really? Man, I have no memory of that in either version.
