Except Michael does make good action movies. The Rock is one of the best action movies ever made. The Island had some great twist and turns despite its predictable ending. Both Transformers movies are A list action titles. If you expected a deep intricate plot with this as there was with The Watchmen, Star Trek, and Public Enemies, then that is your own fault. For me, Transformers was just as wonderful as if I were watching the original series back as a child.

I hate it how people like you throw the word racist around like it is a new gimmick. If you disagree with something, or want to act politically correct, it is considered racist. If you see some white guy with a bumper sticker that says, "I am proud to be white," he obviously must be racist. What is the American dream? All of the black people swimming back to Africa with a Jew under each arm. Oh my god, that must make my comment racist because I made a race joke. Sorry, but open your eyes, they were not racist, the characters were influenced by what goes on around them while the actors (one of them who is black) were having fun. You do know they adlib most Skids' and Mudflap's dialog right?

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt if they started rapping. Wait, didn't they pound 40's of oil?

I passed on this movie in theaters - the previews just looked to cheesy for me. I'll probably Redbox it. So far my next must own title will be Star Trek.

Yeah, but Dennis Quaid is awesome. I nicknamed him as "The Quaid." Because Randy isn't nearly as cool and isn't as worthy.

Exactly From what I have read Sommers may have one-upped Bay in terms of sheer number of explosions in GI Joe vs Transformers 2.

It should be reference, assuming Paramount did their homework. Considering the AQ was reference at the theater (and it's a lower bit rate) it will rival Transformers 2's AQ.
