Default 'My Cousin Vinny' - High-Def Digest Review

David has reviewed 'My Cousin Vinny.' He isn't as big a fan of this one as I am, it remains one of my all time favorites. He says it's still worth a few laughs. This Blu-ray offers a nice step up from the DVD, with fairly good video and audio. Worth a rental, and it sounds like fans should be quite happy!

And if she heard you say that within her hearing distance, I imagine this would be the response -

This a great comedy and a great court room film. I don't see what mentioning the oscar thing over and over has to do with the film today. As an aside bit of trivia it's worth a mention but it doesn't overshadow the film for me. That makes no sense.

The review would have been better if it was full ass compliments, when she's in that tight cat suite it's far more distracting to the film than any oscar stuff after the fact.

This is one of my favorite comedies and I will eventually pick it up. I love the part where the owls starts hooting and Pesci steps outside and just starts shooting in every direction.

btw, does anyone know what a "grit" is?

I meant it as a compliment. Don't get your panties in a bunch! Go listen to the replay of her on the Howard Stern show last week, and you tell me that she does not like to hear that she has a great Ass.

I meant the "for her age" part; I'm sure she's pleased when folks compliment her ass, she works hard enough at it to keep it in shape. But no lady appreciates any insinuation that she is not the essence of youth.

I respectfully disagree with the movie itself...it's one of the funniest movies ever made. It's at least a 4 star comedy.

I agree! A 4-star comedy at the very least! And the Blu-ray is a huge improvement over the DVD!

Now what was that about two yutes?

"My Cousin Vinny' is fun while it lasts, but quickly fades from memory."

Its pretty damn difficult for this film to ever fade from my memory, because its played on some cable channel almost daily.......and for good reason too.....this movie is a modern classic comedy. 3 stars? WTF.

One of the most iconic comedies of the 90's and 3 stars? WTF.

Yeah, at the risk of inspiring fellow reviewer vitriol, David Krauss' reviews are quickly surpassing Peter Bracke's as the most unworthy at this site for me.
