I might be the minority, but I think I might rather NOT have Tales of the Black Freighter in the movie.

Yeah I don't want it either...I didn't like the idea in the book I don't see why I would like it in the movie.

Wow, that cover art is fugly.......

I'm going to pass on this even though I love watchmen. It doesn't look like there is anything new other that the commentaries, which I wouldn't listen to anyways.

I'll be getting it, just for the full experience. Watchmen is on my top ten list, so call me biased.

I just want to know if this includes the non-Ultimate DC via seamless or not. Or if it includes the Maximum Movie Mode....

I won't be getting this no matter what (my 3 Disc DC release will do me just fine) but I can't help but think there'll be a third dip with everything down the road if it turns out the PiP track and Freighter-less DC are not here.

About time!!! Actually, I'm surprised it is coming out that soon, I expected more of a Dec 8th release myself. Either way, I held off on buying it just for this release. This movie is amazing, and the only way it needs to be released is with The Black Freighter inserted into it, as that is how it was in the comics.

I've never read the comic or saw the movie. Is this "Ultimate Cut" the definitive version of the film aka representative of the director's true intention or just a marketing ploy cut?

If I am ever going to buy or rent the film, I'd like to make sure I see the director's cut and not something that has been tampered with. Not that I respect Snyder much as a director, but I just prefer to see all films as their directors intended.

Interesting the ad says TRUHED while the director's cut is DTSMA.

One of those rare things I will pick up near release day.

3-Disc, 5 Panel, Digipack
Disc 1 - Ultimate Cut w/2 new Commentaries
Disc 2 - Special Features, including Under the Hood
Disc 3 - Digital Copy

Included, in Blu-ray case
Disc 4 - Watchmen Motion Comic

For $60 MSRP

I will go no higher than $25 (then deduct my $10 off).

The 3 Disc directors cut that is already out IS his definitive DC. Zack Snyder didn't even do the Tales of the Black Freighter stuff, he's only packaging all this stuff together as a "gift to the fans".

I don't know why, but I originally thought there was going to be additional footage. I'll get this if it ever comes to a bargain price, if not I'll stick with the three blu's separate (Director's Cut, Black Freighter, Motion Comic).

Great! Hopefully I can score the DC on the cheap when this ultimate cut comes out.
