Against all logic -- already owning the Black Freighter BD, not being a huge fan of the Motion Comic beyond the idea of it, and convinced that the existing DC is something that improves upon the TC but would be damaged by the BF footage (which doesn't belong or add to the film, as a film, in any real way) -- I just preordered this anyway. Between the three versions (and at least with the UC you get a digital copy of the TC), there's the evolution of an experiment in graphic-novel adaptation that I, at least, am happy to have...even if I only watch the UC once or twice as an interesting curio.

That cover art really sucks fat hairy nuts. What in holy fucking hell were they thinking? Something wrong with the traditional novel cover design? Oh well; at least WB is doing right by the developmentally disabled community by hiring an army of them to design their cover art...

I may pick this up, but not day 1. I already have the DC.

Is there any other feature avaiable elsewhere that will NOT be included in this set, besides the "Complete Experience" PiP?

This would be a great opportunnity to have every version available on the same disc via Seamless branching, since I'll probably watch the UC only once (but I do want to watch it) and the rest of the times I'll def want to see the DC uninterrupted (not having to be bothered to skip the 'Tales' every now and then).

I don't know what to do... I'm very curious about the DC's PiP experience too, but I WANT the 'Under the Hood' feat. I could care less for the 'Tales' themselves and the Interactive Comic Book, but I want every single extra found in those releases...

Advice?

This release is so silly.

It obviously wants to exploit the Completeists out there.

They should list it for an even, lower price, and give it away.

Default Why can I not find Watchmen Ultimate Edition?

What the hell is going on? I cannot find this in any Best Buy, Target, nor Walmart.

Wow, lots of people seemed to have missed the word on this--the release date was pushed one week out to Nov. 10th.

What word? I see nothing anywhere stating it was pushed back. This site still has it listed for today. Best Buy's site still says today. Toonzone says today. Hell, every site I looked at yesterday had it listed as the 3rd. It would have been nice to know this WEEKS AGO since I planned my entire night on this movie. Thanks WB, thanks for being a bunch of **** sucking douchebags.

No need to get so upset, you can rent GIJoe instead, it's not like movies are Shakespeare or anything anyways
