too bad it's like 8 people trying to connect to the dam thing over and over and over again.....

i kid, i kid. I am curious though, are HDDers using this? I think the last time I bothered was with Sleeping Beauty. Just doesn't seem functional or a particularly useful spend of my entertainment time.

I certainly am... Looks like BD-Live isn't as under-appriciated as people though

Don't some things connect automatically? without user input.

I know HD DVD did on start up just because the player was connected to the net.

Well if you read the article it states the vast majority of connections were used to check out trailers. Not exactly taking advantage of BD-Live.

I am thinking this has to be involved in how they got this number.

So what? That's using BD-Live is it not? you can't expect every SF of every BD released being utilized. Personally I'd say these are impressive connection #'s no matter how you slice it.

BD-Live remains a sad joke. Nothing on here you can't watch with less hassle elsewhere.

Funny. I almost spit my water on my monitor when I read it. Not hilarious but funny enough while drinking water.

Well just playing around with it this weekend, I can state that the implementation has been underwhelming so far but it had a tremendous capability for the future.

Not impressive when lots of movies connect to BD-Live to begin with, PS3 users would know.

particularly when I read posts from users that their movie didn't load, so they kept putting it in and waiting over and over again before going online and finding out to disable the connection.

Al sarcasm aside, I really do wonder how manu of these "connections," are precisely from people trying to reload the same disc over and over again.
