Thumbs up

I can not wait until American Violet comes out on Blu-ray this upcoming Tuesday. I have to have it. It is a remarkable true story that I think everyone in America should witness....Thanks so much for recognizing its' release.

Okay, so I head out this morning(just arrived home) here in Pasadena,CA. To my surprise American Violet is not on the shelf at FYE, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. If anything I think this is an advantage for the people that are not talking about it. This may go down as one of the best kept blu-rays to date. You know why? It's because it's only being distributed online, as far as I know. In addition, yahoo, and other fan sites have given this film A, A-, and A+'s all around the board. This is the type of film I have to have on Blu-ray and months from now when people say, "Oh, I heard of that movie, but I didn't purchase it." It will probably go up in value and people would want it for their collection just because you couldn't get it in the stores. I saw a blu-ray version on the net and the picture quality was wonderful. I think I will order two online now. Peace...

You saw it on Blu-ray SlaughterX or standard DVD? I just ordered it on Amazon and should get it on Thursday. I can't wait for it.

I think you would be hard pressed to find many/any Image release in B&M stores that aren't selling used copies. But they all inevitably go down in value just like any other Blu-ray. The Amazon Marketplace is a great way to check out current value... most of them that have been out for a few months can be bought for <$15.
