Time to discontinue the old version and put a more expensive one on the shelf. Awesome idea. Forget about all the other titles in Disney's vault for a re-release. Wonderful.

I sense sarcasm!

Totally agree... we need more titles, not re-releases!

Relax. It includes two Mattel Disney Pixar CARS. Exclusive
issue for those that collect that crap. Designed for a
Holiday stocking stuffer. For pre-schoolers I would think.

This is nothing new except to attract Holiday Shoppers.
I'd expect a lot of gift packs. Especially stores like
Target for a wide variety of merchandise.

It sure did.

Is annoying how they release this before releasing all the Pixar films...

The weakest Pixar film (I think we all agree on this) getting the most extravagant boxed set, without a mention of The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Toy Story on BD. Although the TS BD might coincide with Toy Story 3 next summer.

That's just great of Disney

Someone at Pixar/Disney really really likes Cars. It is among the least popular of the Pixar movies critically and financially yet it gets a BD double dip and surprisingly, a theatrical sequel in a couple years. Meanwhile, the most successful of all the Pixar movies, Finding Nemo, is MIA.

Yah, i agree that they certainly take there sweet time with putting the titles out that we all want. But I think we can all agree that when they do put out new releases, they do things right. I think i've only ever been disappointed in ONE disney blu transfer, and that was race to witch mountain. I'm still not sure what happened with that one...I honestly thought I accidentally changed a brightness or gamma setting or color space setting or SOMETHING...

This is pretty much how I feel. (I had to highlight what my most-wanted title is )
