Default '17 Again' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron has reviewed '17 Again.' He has no choice but to admit it: This film is enjoyable, but see it for the supporting cast, not for whats his name. This Blu-ray has strong video, good audio, and 30 MORE MINUTES OF WHATS HIS NAME and WHATS HIS NAME'S hair. Recommended.

Aaron is in love with Efron, he just doesn't want to admit it

Nice review, I might now actually give it a rent - from the cover & TV commercials I've seen, I had no idea that anyone besides the HSM kid was in the movie.

Yeah, I enjoyed this one to. Warner got me again with a movie I thought would suck but was decent (Get Smart).

Maybe when I feel up to it, I'll post pictures of all my Efron posters that hang about my bedroom...

Yeah I know. That's what was sad about the marketing of this film. Even in the special features they talk about this film being a "vehicle for Zac." It was sad that this is all they were thinking about when putting it together, but somehow they assembled a great cast, which makes the film.

The cast is really funny, and even Efron was better than expected.

Great review, Aaron!! I saw this film on an airplane recently (captive audience), but ended up really enjoying it. A nice surprise!! I have no desire to own it, but would definitely recommend a rental, especially for families. And like Blu-News says, Efron was much better than expected. He's really developing into quite a good actor. (Did I really just say that?? )

Of course, it's impossible for me to imagine Efron aging into Matthew Perry - they look nothing alike, but that's Hollywood!

Thanks David!

Yeah I found it unbelievable that Efron could be a young Perry, but no more unbelievable than a river vortex from nowhere

Dude, Efron pegged Matthew Perry 100%. He must have watched numerous seasons of "Friends". The face touch, his movements...it was sick. Even the GF commented how well Efron was in the film. Damn enjoyable flick.

He sure did with his acting, I'm just commenting on looks. But, yes he did a great Perry! They talk in the special features about how he and the director watched old Friends episodes to get the mannerisms down.
