Samurai Champloo is a good action show. I dislike the soundtrack, but at least the series is stylish.

First off, I kind of wonder if these are going to come out. They cancelled Blue Gender, so it's possible these might never make it.

On a side note, I'm not sure why people would want certain older anime's on Bluray, even newer TV shows, you're not going to see any improvement over the DVD version unless they remaster the entire show or upgrade the sound from 2.0 to 5.1 or something to that effect. Most likely it will be an upscale, and that's really not worth the money Get something you haven't seen!

Anime movies, however, are a different ball of wax.

Gunslinger Girls has been long rumored on FUNimation inserts, it just finally has a date. Champloo is new news.

It's unfortunate they'll probably all be upscales, as all those shows are SD tv series.

Though, I'm not that excited about the stuff announced. I couldn't get into Champloo. I have no clue what Gunslinger Girl is .

Well, if you aren't into Champloo, then it's even less likley you'll like Gunsliner Girl. It's basically about a group of young pre-teen girls who are trained to become assassins, who also happen to have older male handlers. Something about the show just bothered me for whatever reason, as in,it's kind of creepy in a not so good way. Basilisk is all kinds of awesome though.

No, as in they're like 8-12, where the women on that show are well women who just look young. Plus they don't wipe they're memory, they remember everything. They're not really girls either, but cyborgs, not that it really changes much to me.

Probably the same. I doubt SD pre-upscaled looks any better than post-upscalled by your player, if so, not by much.
