'Repulsion' - High-Def Digest Review
Josh has reviewed 'Repulsion.' He says this movie is a reminder that Roman Polanski is an amaingly talented fimmaker. This Blu-ray is like having a private 35mm screening in your home. HIGHLY recommended.

Just watched it the other night.
Man, when the movie first kicks in, it freaked me out. -

Love the movie.
I have the blu-ray but have yet to watch it. Maybe tonight.
Nice review by the way. It's always a good thing to read a well written and interesting review, the agreeing part is always a plus. -

Great review for a great freaking film. glad to see the good A/V marks, but still sitting in the cabinet waiting to be open.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash.
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

I dig the review. I feel the same way about the sound. My house tends to stay sort of on the hot side, because it's poorly ventilated, but I had to turn off my AC and fans to watch this movie. The sound plays too important of a role in the film to be washed over by outside noise.

It's not 2.0 mono, there's only 1 channel of sound, it's true 1.0 mono. All of Criterion's mono releases have been 1.0 mono, they don't do 2.0 mono.
