Default 'About Last Night...' - High-Def Digest Review

David has reviewed 'About Last Night...' He says the film spoke to him upon its release, but it hasn't aged well in the last 23 years. This Blu-ray features average video and audio and a couple of nice extras. Give it a rent.

Too bad - I rather like this movie - but my upconverted DVD will probably serve if no one can be bothered to make a blu-ray release worthwhile.

I did not think this Blu ray was that bad. It has never had a decent DVD release. THe PQ is a big upgrade over every other formats presentations. I actually think the movie holds up well.

Despite the low grade on this one, I will eventually pick it up along with St. Elmo's Fire!

Of all periods I have a particular hard time to stomach eighties flicks. I actually liked most of them back then but I find them close to unwatchable today. The sixties and seventies vintages have stood the test of time way better in my opinion. Seeing Demi's hairdo on the photo alone is a reason for me not to get this movie.

personally i prefer decade movies that DONT hold up well, for me thats kinda the point. i want to go back for an hour and a half and have a total nostalgic flashback of what the 80's felt like, i enjoy that feel. if it DID hold up well, then hell....i might as well just watch a new movie. who watches an 80's movie hoping for it to feel like an 09 movie??
