Default 'Race to Witch Mountain' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron has reviewed 'Race to Witch Mountain.' This one is really for kids, but it should entertain them. This Blu-ray has somewhat troubled video, better audio, and a surprisingly "un-Disney-sized" portion of extras. Give it a rent.

What previous Disney (Day and Date) flick has had many special features though? Bedtime Stories, HSM3, Bolt etc. have had 30 minutes or less of features on both BD and DVD.

I might buy this, but will rent first. Looks pretty good, I like The Seeker and City of Ember, so will prob like this too. Unfortunately both were cancelled on BD.

I'll be picking this one up just because I've enjoyed just about every movie I've seen The Rock in.

congrats to Disney for not releasing the ORIGINAL children's classic along with this bd--thus being the first studio ever to not take advantage of the most obvious tie-in possible.
I mean is Disney EVER going to release one of their live action classics on bd?
this was the PERFECT opportunity.

I agree lol, it's not like they have tons of Blu-ray releases anyway.

I sadly didn't get to see this in theaters. The action looks great (you know, where that kid stands in the middle of the road and that oncoming truck just wasn't strong enough to crush him)! I'm quite disappointed that there aren't that many extras. If it were a cheap price, I would buy it.

I saw this movie in theaters with my friend and cousins. We thought it was great, and it look nice on a 4K digital projector. I will buy this for sure when I have enough money. Annasophia Robb was hot in this movie.

Yeah I totally agree with you on this. Both of them "Escape" and "Return" should've both been released with this film. They missed the boat on that one.
