'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' - High-Def Digest Review
Aaron has reviewed 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.' He says you may enjoy this if you try the "turn-off-your-brain" method. This blu-ray has nice video and audio, but what happened to the special features from the HD DVD release?!! This is a rental.

I thought the movie was good, it had its funny parts. Now Paul Blart was a train wreck. Im just looking forward to seeing Grandma's boy get a BD release.

Transformers 2 is catching a lot of heat for those two ebonic-speaking robots, yet very few people have commented on Rob Schieder's flat-out racist portrayal of Asian people in this flick. It's the equivalent of someone giving a performance in blackface in this day and age. Glad this review took the time to point it out.

I didn't like this film at all. I watched maybe half of it. Just too ridiculous and it couldn't redeem itself for the stereotypes it exposed and mocked.
Did the primary buffer panel just fall off my gorram ship for no apparent reason?! -

I think this is a good comedy compared to most modern ones that are not funny. I think this movie is definately underrated by the reviewer. And add quite good PQ to that mix..

I saw this in bits and pieces during its long run on HBO and it was OK as a comedy - it had its moments.
From what I've read though, the biggest issue most people have with this flick is exactly what Aaron pointed out. That is how it uses gay stereotyoes to get the laughs then exhorts the audience for laughing when it needs to tie things up in a nice feel-good-morals bow at the end. If people didn't catch that or really don't care, then I'm sure some people will have a decent time with the movie. -

May add this to the library when it can be had for $10 or less. Had some funny moments and of course Jessica was sexy as hell.

I'm curious if this was the same encode as the HD DVD or not. Personally I won't buy this movie at any price... I rented it on HD DVD and watching it once was enough for me, thanks.
