Default 'The Unborn' - High-Def Digest Review

Tom has reviewed 'The Unborn.' This sounds bad. Bad, boring, and derivative. Not a good combo. This Blu-ray has good video and audio and not a single supplement. There are a few HD exclusive features, but we'll let him explain them to you in detail.... This is one special delivery that remains a rental at best.

It does have deleted scenes as stated in the review. Stay far far away!

I watched this recently and I had terrible expectations and I must say it exceeded my expectations (which were really low to begin with). It wasn't a good movie by any means but it could have been much worse.

Really? I felt it was pure trash. Not to mention the acting was so terrible at times lol, the whole acting scared face made me crack up more than a few times.

I really like Gary Oldman as an actor and anything he is in I will watch at least once. His acting is always top notch, can't say the same for anyone else in this movie.

I also like checking out movies that are filmed in my hometown of Chicago, especially when they are filming in my neighborhood. So perhaps I gave this movie more of a chance than it deserved.

Good review pretty much summed up my feelings about it. It sucks because Goyer really does have a great visual sense, just when he's behind a camera he can't tell a damn story. I'm glad I just rented this one.

I hope Odette Yustman is in more movies though.... Good Lord!

It wasn't great but I wouldn't call it bad by any means... just very ordinary.

I honestly liked it a lot. A Jewish Exorcist. I like the whole moythos and death camp linkage too. It was chronically creepy in a lot of parts. And the exorcism. Wow, didn't that work out well...
