Default 'Obsessed' - High-Def Digest Review

Nate has reviewed 'Obsessed.' He'd like to suggest the alternative title 'Indifferent' as this one left him cold, if not a bit ticked off. This Blu-ray has pretty good looking video, fairly weak audio (almost like it's embarrassed to seem connected to this turkey). This is a rental at best.

The trailer for this movie left me with no desire to see this. Not even a rental for me.

While it's not on the level of a Fatal Attraction, it's a pretty decent flick. Beyonce and Ali are both hot!!

hot chicks make PORNOS good, not real films. not a strong selling point, no matter how "hot" the leads are.

I think this was rated PG-13 when it came out in theatres. PG-13 = automatic fail for this type of flick. That means it can't even be enjoyed on a purely trashy level.

I was hooked when I saw the trailer. It was one of the most anticipated movie I wanted to see this year but, unfortunately, not getting to see it in theaters. I'm determined to see this film. Trashy as many may call it, others have found it mindless entertainment. I don't expect anything more. If it's trashy entertainment I want, this movie will probably give me that. Is that necessarily a bad thing? Every once in awhile, a person would want to see a trashy, entertaining mainstream film. This may as well be the one to see.

^^I think that's why this film was trashed when it came out. It isn't good enough to enjoy on a serious level (i.e. - Fatal Attraction) and it's not trashy enough to pass for a mindless guilty pleasure.

I'll just remind everyone that this was a sleeper hit when it was in theaters. It released at just the right time to fill a hole in the entertainment schedule and was inexpensive enough to turn a decent profit.

Beyonce is hot. Was this flick as bad as "Into The Blue"?

I remember seeing this trailer and feeling it was very cheaply made. Had a direct-to-video quality.

I also was surprised to see Beyonce, working on lavish movies like Dreamgirls and big movies like Austin Powers, sort of go slumming with this made-for-TV type of movie.

This flick looked extremely boring and people who saw it said it didnt get good til the end if at all...but for some reason there was a line outside the theatre for it

It's really not a bad flick. Don't get me wrong, it's not in my purchase plans, it's a definite rental. Believe me there has been so many "psycho chick" movies done, this one is better than the run of the mill one.

No real desire to see this, especially after the review of it.

Favorite part of the review: "'Fatal Attraction?' You opened the door for more rip-offs than a bottle of Nair."

I was into the movie and could sort of see this happening in real life but then it got further down the rabbit hole, too far fetched. I was laughing my ass of when

Spoiler:
Ali Larter falls from the attic to the bottom floor on a coffee table, then you think she's dead but no, she suddenly opens her eyes, chandelier then falls on her to kill her off
