It's a shame they couldn't have packaged this into the Complete Series collection. Either delay the complete series release, or bump this up or something..

it's the cylon's perspective in the series, obviously being a single episode it will be condensed. But it should be fun

Sometime in the fall. Syfy just put out a press release going up to Oct 3rd, so I'm guessing it won't be until after that.

Anyway, I'm really excited about seeing BSG on Blu-Ray. I guess since Ron saw what his show can look like shown on a hi-def optical format, he's really come around to the format. (I guessing he didn't have anything to do with that disappointing HD-DVD release.) He's says it's the best the series has ever looked. Even when it's been on Syfy HD and Universal HD - BD is the way to experience the show. It must have really made an impact on him because I remember hearing on one of his podcasts that he wasn't all excited about shooting the show in HD.

I've been DYING for the complete series set. Next Wednesday seems so far away. Maybe amazon will be nice and ship it Monday like they just did Watchman.

I've been watching the HD DVD series 1 again with my gf who hasn't seen it. It's pretty decent to me, but I can't wait for lossless sound since I'm playing it on the xbox addon.

Amazon has posted the box art for this and it looks pretty nice. They also show a release date of 12/29 so it looks like this got pushed back. Someone may want to verify this and update the Release Dates page.

Edit: Amazon has changed this date back to 10/27.
