Default 'Watchmen: Director's Cut' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'Watchmen: Director's Cut' has been posted. E says this one pulls off the impossible, providing a better adaptation than the controversial cut released in theaters. This Blu-ray has five star video, reference audio, and lots of extras. This one is a must own for fans and highly recommended for everyone else.

Very nice review - I am hoping I get my copy from the WB store in time for the BD-Live screening!

Okay, now I'm torn. While I could care less about the digital copy, I do want to check out the extras. If the extras weren't so enticing, I'd just pickup the PS3 game/movie combo and be done with it.

Maybe I'll just rent it for now and pick up the game bundle when it comes down in price.

That's a strong review, should be interesting seeing this movie for the first time. Brodieb, check the Bluray extras forum for the movie night thread as well, we HDD members are having our own chat after the one with the director as well

Who wants to bet the live screening gets overloaded and goes down in flames?

I am so glad to hear that the Director's cut improves on the theatrical version! I actually really liked the theatrical version, but I know there was much left out.

I have honestly never seen or heard anything about Watchmen before this movie.

Is reading the comic necessary before-hand?

No, but if you read the book you'd know what to expect. Alot of people didnt like this movie because they were expecting another x-men
