The special feature allowing you to shoot enemy ships from the bridge of the Enterprise via web cam sounds very cool, even though I dont understand how they are able to do it,lol. Cant wait for this release and it is just after my birthday. Great news!

Aye, Amazon.co.uk has it for 2 Nov as well, they get an exclusive Comic Book added instead of the Steelbook.

Not sure what the comic book will be but I saw somewhere that a 4-part comic book about Nero is coming out, it's probably going to be the first issue of that I think.

Normally the UK blu-ray, since it's edited by Paramount, will have (for me ^^) some french on it, so maybe i'll take it there, and besides, it will be released before the US !

We have to wait until November for this great movie That is over six months from the theater release. Transformers 2 will be out before Trek. I am looking forward to this on Blu-ray. The PQ we know should be outstanding, but maybe Paramount will have an 7.1 Dolby True HD audio track for this one.

Definitely in the top 5 movies of the year list, so it is a must buy. Not just that, but it was Star Trek, and it did not suck.

I'm actually a little bummed, thought this would hit in October. Paramount usually has some pretty quick turnaround on their summer films and this was one of the first. I suppose they're holding it back a bit to coincide with the Next Generation movie set for the holidays.

I'm glad that Paramount is going all out with speacial features, part of me thinks though that shooting enemy ships will be at least initated from your PC. Anyway, I wish there was a movie chat here God I want to do a movie night with this film, it's my top film for 2009, freaking awesome film!!

Second best movie of the summer for me (UP was tops) Can't wait to get this in my collection though.

Was a bit underwhelmed by this. Great fun, but on about the same level as Transformers. Not a lot of plot, lots of over-the-top stuff, and generally fun eye-candy. Maybe a buy when it pops up in a bargain bin or other offer.
