Default 'The Diary of Anne Frank' - High-Def Digest Review

David has reviewed 'The Diary of Anne Frank.' He says director George Stevens' artistry and emotion still shine in this classic production. This Blu-ray's video isn't as dramatically improved as he had hoped, but it's still a step up from the DVD, and with tons and tons of must see extras, this one is easily recommended.

great review, David.

on top of must-have list, and sounds like it's time to upgrade my DVD.

You know, I'm not familiar with the film but I'll have to give it a rent at the very least.

Edit
Have it on my netflix instant queue, if I like it I'll buy. It'll be nice to finally see a production, I've only ever read the story before.

So how are the special effects?

Seriously, I remember watching this way back in junior high. It was part of I believe my English class and I thought it was even good, then. Will have to pick this one up.

I just watched this off of netflix, it was a very good movie... Honestly I don't think you could improve upon it if you tried. That said it's also pretty long, I don't know that I could sit through it again. As much as I want to I'm not sure I'll buy the bluray.l

It is a very good Blu-ray release. I enjoyed watching it again and it`s never looked better. I sure hope more and more classic films like this are released in the next couple of years on Blu-ray.
