David has reviewed 'The Diary of Anne Frank.' He says director George Stevens' artistry and emotion still shine in this classic production. This Blu-ray's video isn't as dramatically improved as he had hoped, but it's still a step up from the DVD, and with tons and tons of must see extras, this one is easily recommended.

You know, I'm not familiar with the film but I'll have to give it a rent at the very least.
Edit Have it on my netflix instant queue, if I like it I'll buy. It'll be nice to finally see a production, I've only ever read the story before.

So how are the special effects?
![]() Seriously, I remember watching this way back in junior high. It was part of I believe my English class and I thought it was even good, then. Will have to pick this one up.

I just watched this off of netflix, it was a very good movie... Honestly I don't think you could improve upon it if you tried. That said it's also pretty long, I don't know that I could sit through it again. As much as I want to I'm not sure I'll buy the bluray.l

It is a very good Blu-ray release. I enjoyed watching it again and it`s never looked better. I sure hope more and more classic films like this are released in the next couple of years on Blu-ray.
