Default 'Chris Botti Live' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Chris Botti Live' on Blu-ray is up. Botti's
fans are sure to enjoy this concert disc, which boasts a sharp
transfer and a "flawless" uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track encoded
at a whopping 96kHz/24-bit/13.8mbps.

I have audio disk on both HD format’s, but Botti and the Legends of Jazz are in a class by themselves. It is under $16 bucks. Great AQ 5/5
Please check out chapter 14 (the drum solo is crazy).

96kHz/24-bit/13.8mbps audio on my 7.1 never sounded this great.

Picked this up during Amazon's sale when it was $9.95 and it's one of the best BDs I have in my collection now. The PCM 96khz/24 bit was showing its colors at 13.8mbps as dominica mentioned above. Anyone who enjoys easy jazz listening should get this, even if it's $14.95 on Amazon now. Stings performance wasn't too shabby and I particularly enjoyed Renee Olstead and Gladys Knight. However, I felt Paul Buchanan completely butchered Elvis' song Are You Lonesome Tonight. I almost wanted to yell at him to stop singing or choke him! Video quality is quite good as well, there were shots where it felt like I was at the front row.
